Close the Gap and Krëfel: an inspiring partnership

Since November 2018, Close the Gap and Krëfel have established a brand new partnership. Krëfel is a Belgian retail chain that specialises in consumer electronics such as for example televisions, computers, washing machines and other household electronic devices.
Recently, Krëfel established a B2B (business-to-business) department. It is in this department that the partnership between Close the Gap and Krëfel was born. More specifically, whenever Krëfel delivers IT hardware to one of their corporate clients, they will recover their clients’ old IT devices and donate these to Close the Gap.
This way, Krëfel is helping us bridge the digital divide. With these donated computers and other IT materials, many people in emerging and developing countries will be able to discover their own talents through the access to IT and the development of their digital skills.
