Digital skills learning in Zambia

The Patel family donated a Digitruck to the Close the Gap group in 2020 to give something back to their home country, Zambia. After running a digital skills program at the Circular Economy Hub of Close the Gap Kenya Ltd., the Digitruck moved to Mfuwe in Southern Luangwa in 2021, where it is managed by the Luangwa Project to support 6th graders from Chiwawatala Primary School. The program utilizes digital tablets to teach the children more creatively, allowing them more freedom and access to more exciting content and receiving their full national curriculum electronically.
